【Exhibition Overview】

"This story is entirely fictional. Any resemblance to real persons or organizations is purely coincidental." Disclaimers like this used to appear at the end of television dramas. Although it makes you feel as though you've been brought back to reality with a bump, there were many television dramas that seemed to reflect reality. Is fiction still effective in the modern world?
As well as "standard" or "initial setting," the word "Default" that appears in the title of this exhibition also means "something chosen automatically if no alternative is specified."
In the real world today, as the fundamentals of our values are shaken, even complex phenomena are being assimilated into stories that are easy to understand. This exhibition showcases the "storytelling technique" that could have been used for such a world.
