My primary format is storytelling. In the past years, I developed narratives focusing on collective and personal histories, and their conflicting relationship with language, space, and identity. In Non-relational objects, I explore notions of urban conflict and social identity: I present full-scale replicas of aggressive public interventions I have personally encountered in different urban contexts and that were originally made by citizens aiming at solving social conflicts within their communities. Identity crisis and social isolation are central within In Another Country, where a performer is seen talking alone in the exhibition space and rehearsing the rambling speech of a homeless businessman. I explored the paradox of immobility and inaction in Untitled (2009), by having intentionally my arms plastered for 20-days.
