Since 2015, I have been working as curator at the Museum Brandhorst in Munich. Previously, I was curator (2010-2015) and assistant curator (2007-2010) at Haus der Kunst in Munich. With Akiko Bernhöft, I co-founded and ran the exhibition space „white light" in Dusseldorf from 2006 to 2007.

My curatorial work has been defined by in-depth investigations of individual artistic practices – regularly framed by thematic exhibitions that allow for an understanding of my curatorial interests within a wider historical framework. One important strand of my curatorial research focuses on technological developments and their effects on the visual arts; another, and interrelated one, centers on the importance of sound and music for contemporary artistic practices.
