Tokyo Wonder Site Shibuya is now showing the exhibition entiled "On the Agenda of the Arts -Silent Voice-." To commemorate the arrival of the artists, Tokyo Wonder Site would like to invite you to the artist talk on Oct/28. On that night, we will have three main speakers; two of the artists who join this exhibition (Kyungwon Moon, Marwa Arsanios) and the artist Mr. Dinh Q Le who joined"On the Agenda of the Arts"exhibition in 2009.

There is no reservation required, so please come and join this inspiring talk!

Kyungwon Moon(South Korea)
Kyungwon Moon was born in Seoul, Korea in 1969. She studied painting at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea. She received her M.F.A at California Institute of the Arts, CA, USA.  Since then, she has shown her works through diverse medium that could speak to the contextual element of her works. Recent notable group exhibitions include, A Different Similarity shown both at BOCUM Museum, Germany (2010) and Santral Istanbul Museum, Turkey (2009), Now Jump at Nam June Paik Art Center, Korea (2008), Modest Monuments King's Lynn Arts Centre, UK (2008). The artist currently lives and works in Seoul.

Marwa Arsanios(Lebanon)
Lives and works in Beirut, Lebanon.
Marwa completed her BA in Graphic Design from the Lebanese American University (2001), and obtained her MFA from Wimbledon College of Art, University of the Arts, London (2007).
She has exhibited in London, Beirut, Athens, Oxford, Lisboa, Santiago de Chile and Rome. Her work was recently shown at Art Dubai in the Bidoun Lounge (Art Park), at the Forum expanded of the Berlinale 2010 and at the Homeworks V forum in Beirut. She is a founding member of the artist organization and project space 98weeks research project, and one of the organizers of the traveling project Platform Translation. She has been granted the artist's residency at the Arab Image Foundation for 2009.

Dinh Q Le(Visual Artist, Director of San Art, Vietnam)
Born in Ha-Tien, Vietnam in 1968 and currently reside in Ho Chi Minh City.
He received his BA in Art studio at UC Santa Barbara in 1989 and his MFA in Photography and Related Media at The School of Visual Arts in New York City in 1992. 
Le's work has exhibited worldwide. His recent solo exhibitions include, A Tapestry of Memories: The Art of Dinh Q. Le at the Bellevue Art Museum, Washington State; Destination for the New Millennium, The Art of Dinh Q. Le, at the Asia Society, New York. Upcoming exhibitions in 2010 include, a mid career survey organized by the University at Buffalo Anderson Gallery, and a project at MOMA, New York.
Besides being artist, Le also co-founded Vietnam Art Foundation-VNFA based in Los Angeles, an organization that supports Vietnamese artists and promotes artistic exchange between cultural workers from Vietnam and around the world.  Through VNFA, Le co-founded San Art, a none profit gallery in Ho Chi Minh City.  He is currently a board member of the Art Network Asia, and a member of the Asia Society's international council.
