[Exchange: Melbourne] Ishu Han Publication Launch

Ishu Han, dispatched to Melbourne Australia for Exchange Residency Program will have a publicatioin launch as follows:

Born in Shanghai, China, Ishu Han now lives and works in Tokyo, Japan. During his twelve-week residency at the Victorian College of the Arts, Han examined Chinese immigration to Australia, the discovery of gold in Victoria during the 1850s and the legacy of these histories. Drawing from this research and an experience of place this exhibition investigates notions of 'identity' in contemporary art.

The exchange residency program is a collaboration between Tokyo Wonder Site, Asialink and VCA.

This publication launch will coincide with the Margaret Lawrence Opening of The Solo Projects.

Venue: Student Gallry, School of Art (Gate 4, Dodds Street, Southbank)

Ishu Han's solo exhibition "Study Country" is now on at the gallery till 18 (Fri.)
Opening Hours: Mon. - Fri. 10:00 - 17:00
