Profile

Born in 1978. Works in Hong Kong. For filmmaker Tsang Tsui-shan, the transition to immersive storytelling was inspired by content. Her documentary Ward 11 which she won the 25th ifva silver award, features the dancing duo of Wong Thien-Pau Ix (Malaysia), and his longtime partner and fellow dancer Khek Ah-Hock Aaron (Singapore). After Hock died in 2019, seeing Ix's deep and abiding love, which has endured beyond his partner’s lifetime, made Tsang to use technology as a bridge between the worlds of the living and the dead, to retell their love story in a different dimension.
