After the earthquake on March 11, 2011, alumni from art universities gathered to raise the question "what can we do for those, who have or are suffering?" Even some of the members have lost touch with their friends and are going through sorrowful momements.

Rather than sitting around and praying, we have been brainstorming on what actions we can take; and finally we have decided to host a live drawing event in Central Tokyo, where drawings will be given to those who make donations.

The drawings will be posted on the web, as well as through facebook.

The participating artists are the current students and the alumni of Tokyo University of the Arts, Tama Art University, Musashino Art University, Tohoku University of Arts and Design etc, as well as some renowned artists, who have volunteered to participate; about 100 artists have agreed to participate so far.

Please join the event, have conversations with the artists and get pieces of art of your favorite. We are looking forward to seeing many visitors to the event and we hope this event will encourage more people to support those who need help.

During the event the artists and the art students will be conversing with the visitors while performing a live drawing. Each piece of drawing will be given as a trade, for donations. 100% of the money collected during this event will be donated to Japan Red Cross Society.
