The Metropolitan Government launched Tokyo Wonder Wall in 2000 with the aim to discover new talent in the contemporary art scene through public subscription exhibitions. In addition to the two-dimensional works section, the "three-dimensional works and Installation" section was added as another new section for Tokyo Wonder Wall in 2007, then video works were included in the section in 2013. At this exhibition, two award-winning artists selected from 95 entries exhibit their works including the award winning works.
The exhibition for the two-dimensional section is also opening currently at the skywalk connecting the main building No.1 and the assembly hall.
