Mrs Ishi, the last living woman, tries to understand and make peace with her dying culture through a series of film diaries that gradually reveal to us the post-human nature of her futuristic world. The artifacts of her time and our own take on a peculiar poignancy as old letters, corroded metals and strange half-animal machines are used to evoke themes of loss, aging, decay, and transcendence. Overlapping videos and objects will bear witness to the last days of human dominance on Earth.
