Purpose of the residency
June 2010 in Japan, Bertrand Meunier will continue his work on asian cities. He would like to research in Tokyo business district, at the end of working day, people living alone or having a drink with colleagues. About the loneliness, the conventions and outlet moments.
His work still evolving, puts forth his interpretation of society, and he will to reveal the many facets of asian modern cities which are not shown. These series will take part of the next Tendance Floue collectiv trip. It is a photo project made by the French photographers agency in collaboration with artists, writers all around the world. It will be published in 2011.
