Purpose of the residency
This project "Open an eye and close an eye" photography exhibition is a one-year project and will reach out to 6 big cities in Asia (Taipei, Shanghai, Tokyo, Deli, Singarpore, Bangkok). Tokyo is one of the cities because of its unique character and dynamic lifestyle. Having this opportunity to have a residency in Tokyo Wonder Site, I will be able to carry on this project successfully.
Plan during the residency
I will chose people randomly from local/ city and ask them questions as follows:
• What they don't want to see when they open their eyes (reality)
• What they want to see when they close their eyes (dream)
According to their story and characters, I will design costume and take photo of them in the public space, and to present it as social documentation.
