Purpose of the residency
I have been making a deep research and study in Chinese traditional culture, and can be good at blend these cultural factors into my art, a lot of creative experience will be sharing with Japanese artists in the residence. Most of my works stress the relationship between humans and nature, but the real focus is on humanity, I try to understand the human through exploring nature. So the difference between Peking and Tokyo is very important for this study.
Plan during the residency
I am very interested in Japanese culture, such as literature, philosophy, and especially the contemporary art in Japan. The subject of my works`relates to human nature and environment. I see myself during the process of creating and trying to reach an agreement between subjective mental activity and objective reality, and I`ll finish these works in the name of art.
