Purpose of the residency
I have the works in expression technique workshops form varies depending on the relationship with others. However, workshop has an established role as a education for local community, regional contribution activities and citizen participation in Japanese art scene. Therefore, I feel that workshop has been established as a method to do art works. I am interested in what workshop as method to do art works can do in the art scene in the world. In addition, I am interested in relation between sport and culture, so I want have a relationship with local people through the workshop theme of sport. I would like to go to Madrid for consideration of this issue.
Plan during the residency
1. I will research how the rules of public are making the landscape of Madrid.
2. I will research a place where works can be co-produced while wrists stay involved with each other and the general public. And I will set up a mechanism for redefine the meaning or function of the site.
3. I will observe the changes in the site and people involved there. I will collect ideas, imagination, and information that come up there.
4. I want to the ideas and concepts created there to then be developed and realized. At any time, I will do a workshop to achieve this. We will create a stylistic image by collaboration with others.
