About works / performance
I am a writer of both fiction and film, focusing mainly on the mixing the genres of fantasy with more realistic subjects. My novel Wax is a modern-day reimagining of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein with a young protagonist who has been risen from the dead by a greedy scientist. The story is aimed at both young adults and adults alike and mixes elements of drama, comedy and adventure. In my past work as a screenwriter for the short film Dennis, I created a story that updated the classic story of "the monster living under the bed." In this film, the monster, Dennis, and a boy named James have an in-depth discussion on family, mortality and addiction.
