Profile
Born in Kagoshima Prefecture in 1960. After completing MA at the Kyoto City University of Arts, Mr. Fuji worked as a lecturer at the National Museum in Papua New Guinea, and a staff member for a city planning consultant firm before establishing the Fuji Hiroshi Planning and Production Room. He plans and creates art projects across various genres based on "local resources, appropriate technologies, and cooperation". He currently lives in Itoshima-gun, Fukuoka Prefecture. His major works include "Walking of the Skinny Dog", "Rice Frog Story", "Vinyl Plastic Connection" and "Kaaekko". He is also a part-time lecturer at Kobe University (space composition, theory of workshop) and Kyushu University (architectural design exercise).

His works include: "Carp Streamer Swam in Kamo River" (1983), "Marriage Problem between Godzilla and Haniwa" (1984-85), "Walking of the Skinny Dog" (1988-96), "Media Garden E-space" (1989-), "Desert of Rice, Dog Urine" (1991), "The Story of Rice Frogs" (1992-95), "Bamboo Bridge" (1996), "Complex Building - 'E-space'" (1998), "Vinyl Plastics Connection" (1999-2003), "Kaaekko" (2000-), and "Meeting Table - 'plants!'". His current works include "Useless Selection", "Dreaming Bird" and "Happy Forrest".
