Profile
I was born in Buenos Aires, in 1979. I first pursued a career as a graphic designer, and I enrolled at the public university in Buenos Aires. After three years, I decided to apply to art school in New York and got accepted at the The Cooper Union School of Art. There I decided I didn't want to work as a designer anymore and went back to drawing, experimenting with watercolor, woodblock, silkscreen and sculpture. After graduation, I decided to move back to Argentina. On my return I found out many things that I had forgotten about life there, things that have taught me valuable lessons. I also opened a small gallery space with some friends called Canasta, and started working with Mercedes Villalba.
About works / performance

Mejunje has been showing work regularly in Argentina, mostly in the form of artwork based on reusing found material and local plants species. This aspect of our work has been shown within gallery space, a cultural center and even our own backyard. We are glad to now have the opportunity to concentrate on research for future works.
