HORI Sonomi|Consonance

Consonance, 2018

The friction that occurs during motion allows creatures to communicate which leads to each other's better living. Refering the meaning of material and gravity confrontment of sculptural expression through the limited body, and to express and ask the ambiguity of a border or contact of oneself and others inside our consciousness into a 3D form, the work will stably influence senses of sight and haptics.

Wall, 2017

Dream, lover, drawing are said to be one's mirror. The reality that appears in the dream could be more than my expectancy, or be an overwhelming fear. Sometimes I could fly. Sometimes I was a murderer. I also often see dreams where I am running away desperately from something. Every night, in my room, I peep in to a world of twisted, coiling lies and truth.
HIRATA Naoya|∃, Parallels, Invulnerability

Repetition game, 2017

The theme of this work is focused on space, time and physical conditions. Not an illusion that shows unexciting thing, but focusing on simply showing things that are already there. This is an approach about the presence of reality when human and thing confronted.
