Mizuno has explored the relationships and forms of care among people, and between people and the land through the act of "eating / touching". In recent years, she has been particularly interested in expressing the overlooked stories and emotions held within the land through the "foraged colours" of the plants and minerals on the earth. Land can be an object of capital and ownership, but what if it were liquid with its own voice, how would the relationship between people and land change? By sharing the "colours" with others, she is searching for ways to engage in dialogue with the land and people.
