Park's practice explores the politics of images within media technologies and scientific representations, tracing how they shape the sensory world and incorporate nonhuman entities into our perceptual systems. Drawing on research across optical devices, planetary images, prehistoric reconstructions, computer vision, and other materials, Park expands and critiques reality through hypothetical and speculative strategies that synthesize documentary and science fiction. Her images and fictions reveal latent narratives and ghostly presences concealed within institutional systems, while questioning the dominant frameworks that surround us.
