Park’s image studies decode the frameworks that shape our sensory world and reveal hidden narratives. She is particularly interested in the genealogy of optics, audiovisual byproducts derived from science, history, and media technology. By tracing these byproducts—manifested in objects, places, and online archives—she uncovers dispersed voices that linger like ghosts. These voices become visible within the narratives she constructs through film, sound works, video installations, and books. Her practice involves extensive research based on real events and materials while synthesizing sci-fi and documentary, ultimately questioning the belief systems that govern our era.
