Profile

Born in Beijing, China, in 1966, where he is currently living.
Following the death of his father, artist himself, he displayed at the Beijing Tokyo Art Project in Beijing in 2005, in "Waste Not", works strongly evocating phenomena of the contemporary Chinese society, while treating a personal theme in deepening his relationship with his mother.
He received then the Grand Award of Gwangju Biennale 2006. Subsequently, the exhibition toured in Berlin and England, as part of the group exhibition "Re-imaging Asia" and, after being displayed at the MOMA in 2009, receiving a worldwide high appraisal, is planned to tour in Canada and California.
