Humberto Duque's art education includes the ENPEG LA ESMERALDA in Mexico City, the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe in Germany, and the CCA Kitakyushu Research Program in Japan. He has been a resident artist at the ISCP in New York City; National Art Studio Changdong in Seoul; Bemis Art Center in Omaha, and several other programs. He has been commissioned public art projects by the Denver International Airport and the Lademoen Kunstnerverksteder in Norway. His work has been awarded at the Yamaguchi Center for Art and Media YCAM, and has participated in projects and exhibitions internationally.
